 When it comes to Proposition 8 all attention is centered on the state Supreme Court, but in the midst of the political tumult there has been one unintended benefit:  Some lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered groups laboring in obscurity in the communities of Southern California finally received the prominence they had strained for years to achieve.
