The secret is out! Inglewood, California is a haven for artists; that’s right, those creative types, the rebels, the painters and sculptors, the photographers and the illustrators of tomorrow. The success of the Third Annual Inglewood Open Studios is sure to raise eyebrows in nearby cities and in this unique local art community, just a crow’s flight from the Los Angeles Airport runway. The public is invited to visit a variety of emerging and established fine artists in their Inglewood studios. Some of the artists are graduates of Otis College of Art and Design in nearby Westchester, others have attended art schools across the country, and a few are self-taught. Some are relatively new to Inglewood, while others have lived in this area for years. Spearheaded by Renée A. Fox three years ago as a means to support the local artist movement in this diverse art community, the INGLEWOOD OPEN STUDIOS has blossomed into a force of creativity growing steadily every year.
