The Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Los Angeles will have a community mixer Jan. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Crenshaw Live Bar and Grill. This event is free and is part of the organization's annual King Week celebration. The theme for King Week 2010 is "Justice Must Be Universal."

Downtown Art Walk

The Downtown Art Walk is a monthly event on the second Thursday of every month. It includes a self-guided tour of the art exhibition venues in Downtown Los Angeles, which includes commercial art galleries, public museums, and non-profit arts venues. Guided tours of the Gallery Row portion of the Downtown Art Walk are available, led by Ashley McLean Emenegger of McLean Fine Art.
