Harlem of the West exhibit

A celebration and reception of the exhibit Harlem of the West: Jazz, Bebop, and Beatnik, a museum exhibit on the Fillmore Jazz District in San Francisco, based on the Book "Harlem of the West" by Elizabeth Pepin & Lewis Watts.
The party will feature light refreshments, music, and a brief talk and Q&A by authors Elizabeth Pepin & Lewis Watts, Rani Singh -- Director of the Harry Smith Archives, and museum curator Michele Elizabeth Lee.

Grand opening of pregnancy clinic

The Westside Pregnancy Clinic will hold a Grand Opening of its new South Los Angeles satellite clinic from 11am-1pm. Community leaders and community partners will have an opportunity to tour the clinic and experience first hand the impact the services will have on the South LA community.
