Carson City will celebrate the life and legacy of Cesar E. Chavez. The event will include a peace march, food, a dance, readings and music.

Community Coalition anniversary kick-off (10:00 am)

This year marks Community Coalition's 20th Anniversary. On Saturday, March 20th, Community Coalition is hosting a special membership event with founder Karen Bass. The event kicks off a full year of celebration that will highlight the Coalition's accomplishments over the last 20 years. President and CEO Marqueece Harris-Dawson will then share our new hopes and vision for the future as we embark on another 20 years of bringing real change to South LA.
As part of the celebration, CoCo will unveil a new logo sign that will grace the front of its building. If you become a new member or renew your membership at this event, you will receive great goodies featuring the new logo. Membership levels start at $25.
