The Obama administration has had a perpetual slogan for change, and Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina says she wants change too. But in the other direction.

The Republican candidate spoke with small business owners at the Rogers Poultry office building in Vernon on Thursday at a round table conference. Fiorina outlined her ideas for future economic and social policy for California and the US.

Fiorina stressed cutting spending as the only way to amend the current budget and unemployment crises. Fiorina cited the election of Republican Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate from the mostly liberal state of Massachusetts; she hopes liberal Californians can do the same for her.

Fiorina says that Califonians are outraged by the state’s economy and policy, and they are looking for a different view to keep them afloat. In Fiorina’s view, federal jobs and small businesses will help California build itself back up. The election will take place on November 2 of this year.
