People across the country are celebrating Earth Day. But far away from the forests or ocean, disability rights advocates held a different kind of Earth Day protest. They gathered in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday to remind lawmakers that they, too, are endangered. Ariel Edwards Levy was there and filed this report:
