FROM THE WORKSHOP: What our tax dollars pay for
During a workshop on community reporting, hosted by SCOPE and run in partnership by the South LA Report and the Metamorphosis Project, South LA resident Delores Kelley took to the streets to take pictures of what our tax dollars pay for. Participants had a brief overview of storytelling skills, followed by basic instructions in photography, before heading outside onto Florence Avenue. Using an audio recorder and slide show program for the first time, Kelley narrated along to her images.
